T'is music to my ears.
Music tastes vary on campus, so why not have a website dedicated to those varying tastes? Stumbleaudio.com is a fantastic website dedicated to music of all genres and from different cultures.
Another perk? Many of the artists are up-and-coming.
According to Stumbleaudio's mission statement, they "help you find music by new and exciting artists, rather than play or sell you the hits by known artists you are 'expected' to like."
The site also boasts that it has over two million songs from over 120,000 artists. This, however, is an understatement.
Stumbleaudio is an endless source for all your music needs. For example, one day you may feel like Asian music-check out Philein and Trish Thuy Trang-or emerging pop singers that have Indian flair such as Sissy Siero.
Besides music, Stumbleaudio also has language-learning audio, so while you are writing the next great American novel, you can learn Chinese or Portuguese to expand your language repertoire.
What's going on in his subconscious?
Recently, Karen Slavick-Lennard and her husband Adam Lennard made the rounds to "Good Morning America" and other notable talk shows, and with good reason: Slavick-Lennard's blog, sleeptalkinman.blogspot.com, is a viral and media sensation.
The site, dedicated to Lennard's sleep talking, is hilarious and interesting, especially if you are someone who likes to study dreams and the subconscious. While reading through the blog's content-such as, "I want to be a cowboy. I don't want to be a panda. Pandas are boring, stupid and boring. Bad panda!" -you will wonder what this man thinks about during the day that makes him say these things at night.
In addition to the blog, there are also audio clips of Lennard's sleep-speak and a store that sells t-shirts with Lennard's most popular sayings.
As Lennard would say, this blog is "badgertastic!"
