It's that time of year again. Families are grilling, kids laughing, parades passing by, and yes, the fireworks are blasting in the sky. That's right; I'm talking about the Fourth of July celebrations. There is so much to do on this day of celebration regardless of where you live. Hence, if you are not sure where the action and celebration is, never fear, here are the special events happening for our Independence Day.

Food, games, rides, music, and arts and crafts will be some of the attractions at this celebration. July 3 there will be a Citizen's Financial Mile Race. The race is for all ages and begins 6:30 p.m. at 40th St. and Kennedy Ave. July 4 there will be a fireworks show at the Homestead Park at 9 p.m.
