Instead of coming up with a catchy lead, I would like everyone to play a game. It's multiple choice, and it's not too hard.

Besides, you all have to get ready for finals next week, anway.

Here is your question: Which of the following three choices, A, B, or C, is always crying the quotes "I want this!" and "I need that!"

Your choices:

A. Paris Hilton

B. A 5 year-old

C. NFL wide receivers

Although A and B seem like the obvious choices, the correct answer is C. Sorry, guess I'm one of those tricky professors.

The current state of receivers in the NFL is sad. The talent is there, but the off-field antics are enough to make a sports reporter write an article about how annoying they are.

Hey, what do you know?

Terrell Owens, despite being one of the most gifted athletes in the world, is known more to the world for being a pompous you-know-what, than a star football player.

From making homophobic comments about former teammate and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jeff Garcia, to crying about negative media coverage on current teammate Tony Romo, "T.O" has done it all - except win a championship.

Most Recently, Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson has caused a slew of trouble, demanding to be traded.

"I want out," Johnson has told various media sources.

He's not the only one. Reports also say that Arizona Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin had his agent request a trade from the team.

Former Bear receiver and now Carolina Panther Muhsin Muhammad always wanted the attention and the spot light but couldn't back up his mouth with steady play on the field. How does 40 catches for 570 yards and three touchdowns for the number one receiver on the team. "Moose" needed to worry about about practice and helping out the young qbs instead of picking out spiffy suits for postgames.

Why can't their be more players like Marvin Harrison of the Indianapolis Colts? Harrison appears to be somewhat of a loner. He sits alone at the end of the bench during games. Harrison still puts up phenomenal numbers, and doesn't need to brag about it.

Then, who could forget Jerry Rice?

In his career, Rice had 1,549 receptions, 22,895 yards and 197 touchdowns. He also caught at least one pass in 274 consecutive games from 1985 through 2004 - an NFL record. There wasn't any cockiness involved.
