PUC hits 'ace' with Donn Gobbie
Next fall, PUC will expand the athletic program to include several new sports, one of which is men's tennis, which will be coached by the very experienced Donn Gobbie.

Men drop to 0-6
PUC ran out of gas in overtime, falling to Taylor University Nov. 28 with a final score of 84-75.
Peregrines had the hot hands in the first half shooting 52 percent. PUC led at halftime 32-29.
In the second half, the Peregrines production dropped off enough to allow TU to force overtime.…

Peregrines won a second straight game, beating Holy Cross College 87 to 79 on Nov. 28. PUC advanced to an overall record of 4-4 with two victories this week.
Leading the way with 20 points for PUC was Stephaine Beck. Beck, a sophomore majoring in hospitality and tourism management, also had 5 steals on the night.…

Strong effort led to strong win
Peregrines righted the ship with a dominant second half to win over IU South Bend on Nov. 24 in the Fitness Center. PUC had previously lost four straight games after winning the first two games of the season.
Turnovers and rebounding were attributed to a final score of 80-66.…

Execution and preparation defeat Peregrines
A lack of offensive execution defeated PUC on Nov. 24.
According to freshman guard Aaron Evans, PUC played well in a 69-68 loss to IU South Bend, but in crunch time they were unable to put the ball in the bucket.
