PUC forward injured in car accident
Redshirt freshman could miss season
Redshirt freshman forward Mark McCord is expected to miss the opening eight to ten weeks of the PUC basketball season with a contused spine, broken femur and broken knee cap after a car accident Oct. 21.
Justin Latimore, a freshman forward, was in the passenger seat of McCord's late model sport utility vehicle at the time of the accident.…

PUC Graduate earns publication in prestigious journal
Denise Zablocki checked the mail Oct. 14 and found a copy of "Modern Oman Studies on Politics, Economy, Environment and Culture of the Sultanate" edited by Andrzej Kapiszewski, Abdulrahman Al-Salimi and Andrzej Pikulski. Within the journal is an article written by 2004 PUC history and political science graduate Christopher Hedigan, Zablocki's son.…

Alternative transportation program started at PUC
Students looking for alternative options for getting to and from campus or reducing transportation costs can request to share a ride with a fellow student through PUC's new RideShare program.
Rick Riddering, assistant vice chancellor for student development and outreach said that it was important to start the RideShare program this fall because of PUC's status as a commuter college because of the increased enrollment of international students.…

The names of the 15 semi-finalists for the third annual 'Opportunity for Indiana business plan competition' were released last week by PUC and Purdue North Central.
